Default upgrade options for a zc engine

i,m gonna start with a new project,a crx '90 with a 16 16v zc dohc engine...

what are the upgrade options for a zc dohc engine(d16a9)?
are there good cams available for this engine?
or any other mods to increase the power

if there's someone that has good experience with the performance possibilities for this engine...

Do you have the D16A9 or the DOHC ZC,

The D16A9 have a lower c/r of 9:1

The DOHC ZC and D16A8 have a c/r of 9.5:1

Check these places for all your parts...

yeah but youll find that in the US, that the A9 doesnt have 131hp, on the A9 it is a little less than the ZC and A8, the A9 in Europe was designed to run Leaded fuel and no Catalytic converter.

Leaded fuel is some powerful ****...but it ***** up a Cat-co...

So even running 93 oct or whatever you have ther prolly 91oct, wont be enough to get you to the rated 131hp.

But if your going to build it with internals, I guess it having lower compression and all, doesnt really matter anymore huh?

Welcome to the Double-D family, you will enjoy them, I have a JDM ZC and cant be happier, Had it for almost 4 yrs...WWAAYYY before they ever got popular.
