Default ::Click here to see:: (Nastiest CRX ever)

If you're reading this you've fell for my ridiculous thread title. What we have here is a story of a once neglected 17 year old car, turned into a teenage hottie. This is my third Honda, and by far my favorite.

Anyway, she got dumped today. Filipino style, tuckin 14's. There's still a good 1.5'' left of droppage to be had, but I like the way it sits now. Only rocking the gangster tuck for few days, then it's going up

Stock ride height:

Yuck, that sucks.

The goods:

Slammed goodness:

What awaits for tommorow...

*In regards to the hood; no I didn't vent it for JDM hotness.....

All work performed by yours truly, all comments welcomed.

If you did it by cutting your springs then yes, it is definitely Filipino style.

Nice! Just be careful with those Urethane trailing arm bushings, I heard those might make you lose control because they cause bump steer.

Really? I never really knew anyone that's had that type of problem. They're just stiffer bushings, but are they really THAT stiff that they give you problems like bump steer?

Yea I read about it in a few threads on here about Urethane trailing arm bushings. The way the stock ones are designed, it allows the trailing arm to move on more than 1 axis, which the Urethane ones restrict, therefore causing the suspension to bind. I don't remember the specifics, but if you search around the archives I'm sure you can find a lot of info on them

People who replace them usually either replace them with brand new OEM ones, or dish out the money for the stiffer Mugen ones.

I'd love to tell you that it's because the hood hits the damn engine! That's why I posted a pic of my HUGE VTEC BEAST!

You can even see where the hood touches the valve cover...

or you could just cut the skeleton so your hood closes correctly.

Or spend 5 minutes ghetto rigging skateboard bushings w/longer bolts onto the hood hinge so I don't have to hack up my hood. But I'm not gonna argue about it, because I really don't care what you say.
