IDRC: Maple Grove, gonna get rained out?

The weather looks pretty bad this weekend... thunderstorms, 90+ weather and killa humidity.

I can't remember trying to go to a Maple event since 2002 without rain involved.

2003 - it rained overnight but the sky was great in the morning. None of us tried to go because of the rain... but it was fine.
2004 - it rained a lot and flooded the NOPI event for that Sunday.
2005 - more of the same I guess for the IDRC.

I miss Maple. It's been awhile since I've seen it.

im still going for it. just got finished with the car and ill be heading out in the am. i remember missing the maple grove event 2 years ago because it rained the night before with a prediction into the next day and i woke up the next afternoon to sunny skys and the news that everyone was at the grove racing. so ill be planning on going till i hear or see otherwise.

it was suposed to rain all of yestrday and all of today. it rained today after 6 oclock. as long as its not raining like crazy when i wake up im there

 

ran sucks.....it gets into the shop dyno pit...makes a mess....blah blah

 

today it was nice at my shore house driving home to PA it was raining in spots. Maybe maple grove will have a hole where it does not rain. I am going regardless. Just trying to find out if gates open at 9 or 10?

 

**** it was raining like **** all day and lightning like crazy. I lost power for 4 hours and the humidity was murder. The weather for tommorrow is calling for Thunderstorms, heavy down pours and 100+ Degree weather with 100% Humidity.

This **** sucks ***!

The track is all set up to open tomorrow at around 9am. Hopefully the it doesnt rain till later in the day. I guess we will have to see in the morning..... See you all at the track.

 

i live in reading well 15 mins from Maple Grove and the weather this weekend so far is ummm kinda unpredictable. One hour is bright as hell and a few white clouds then then next hour there is a T-Storm. Just a little lite rain today though. IDRC is tomorrow?
