OT: Where do I find this??
According to this link I found on a post here
http://www.sandmracing.com/sjdmrstbdocs.html
it mentions I should get some kind of rubber lining or something....anyone know what part number this is? It doesn't specifically mention it. Or...rather...is this something I can find locally at a hardware store? Or something....help!

http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=780
that should show that little rubber piece that I'm talking about. If I can't find it at an acura store....where would I be able to find a good substitute? Any help is greatly appreciated

It's usually shipped with the kit for the rear bar.
If you bought a used bar, it's possible it did not include the rubber, because a lot of USDM users of the OEM rear bar just remove the shock tower covers completely.

know of any good substitutes for this rubber piece?
Could I possibly use the rubber lining that's found around the center console plate of an automatic integra:

part #11 ?

Go to the auto parts store and get some black rubber door edge molding. Most auto part store (NAPA, Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.) have this rubber molding.

i did that with my Mugen rear bar, but the install is a little different, but regardless, it's an option, but why not just take off the plastic covers?

I thought about that and opted for an "OEM" look
I bought those rubber door guard things and it worked out perfectly! All I did was followed the template and measurements from that DIY article found on teamintegra.net. Not hard at all. All I did was spend like $8 at home depot for a 1 3/4 inch hole saw bit with centering bit since I didn't have one, and about $3 at advanced auto parts ( kragen in some areas ) for the rubber piece and about 20 mins taking my sweet time to make sure I did a good job. I'll have pics of it up tomorrow.
*edit*....since the jdm itr rear strut bar was discontinued...I just got the replicated stuff. Not bad. Fits perfectly but I may end up powdercoating the bar itself to say.....maybe a hyper black or something. Not sure if I'd even want to do that.

Nice work on the bar installation.

lol, thanks. I wanted to include the cf c-pillar bar in the pic...but it didn't work out that way. That sub in the box is actually A LOT lighter than what I had in there before. imagine 2 12's in a heavy *** box that required 2 people to lift ( unless you wanted to throw your back out
) That box I have in there is a lot lighter. Though I am planning on a better "install" of the components later.
