Default Car Alarm dont know where it is

So I bought a 96 civic cx the guy told me it had an alarm but has no remote for it and did not know what brand it was. the only clue that i can find pertaning to the alarm system is a horn and a led by the shifter. If any body could help me out in places where it might be it would be greatly apreciated.
Picture of where the horn is.

Under the dash?

I don't think anyone is going to/should help you since you're a trial user and it could just as easily be a stolen car. Take it somewhere and see if the can program you a new remote or just get the alarm replaced. If you found it, what would you do with it? You don't want to go w/out an alarm unless you want to end up making yet another of the 100s of "help my car got stolen" posts. If you don't know where to look I doubt you know enough to uninstall it.

Not looking to uninstall it just looking to find it so that i can get a new remote for it I have all the proof that i bought the car aka Bill of Sales And i dont want to spend Money to have a shop find it. I see what you mean about me being a trial user and posobly it being a stolen car but it is legit.

Yes you can code it yourself, you can try to get one from http://www.alpine.com or http://www.autotechs.com
The remote model # is 8426A, to program you will have to open the alarm brain to access the coding switch, press and hold the valet/disarm switch, immediately
press and release the coding switch, [located inside alarm brain next to dip switchs and jumpers] DO NOT let go of valet/disarm switch, the LED will start flashing fast, press the TX button on remote 3-4 sec, the siren will chirp twice, done.
Repeat this 4 times, to make sure that you erase any other remotes that are out there. The Alpine SEC-8027 is a very good and dependable dual stage shock alarm, with light flash and door lock relays on-board, it also has selectable starter cut output normally open or closed and one EXT output.

Yea, you will have to get in touch with Alpine as it is an older Alpine alarm, [pre 97] there is a "contact us" at http://www.alpine.com and you can get the install manual at tech support. If you have a specific question about the operation just ask. 94

Chit, just when I though 12volt would come through again, and although they have the 8027a, [much the same as the 8027] they also only have the install manual, [wiring diagram] just like alpine.com.
You can get most anything from alpine.com, even for old product, but I do not understand why they do not have an owners manual for the 8027 or the 8027a
One of the things I do like about Alpine though is even though they may change the alarms on newer models or between models and programing and capability's change, the basic operation of the alarms do not change, so you could down load the owners manual for the 8028 the basic operations will be the same. 94
