B16 with a GSR Tranny Good or Not
Ive been offered a gsr tranny with a new clutch and flywheel for my stock tranny i know i would have longer gears more better for the freeway but is it good for racing? anybody done this or how about a ls tranny with a b16 motor? whats up?

i would keep the B16 tranny. the shorter gears make up for the little amount of torque u have in the B16. unless u go boost, i would use a GSR tranny on a B16.

y would u get a gsr tranny if u boost? shorter gears = quicker acceleration
that whole longer gears is better cuz your in boost longer is bs. keep the b16 and definately dont get the ls. if your worried about the highway dont even bother with a b16

Ummm, yeah definitely keep the B16 tranny. Anyone will tell you it is better for acceleration. I guess if you want fuel economy, go with the GSR tranny.
