Default finaly i got me a ITR.... now i need help. UPDATDE WITH PICTURES

well i bought the car yesterday from sweeden. and on the way home today only some miles away from my home after driving many hundred miles, the car suddenly gets a bit lazy and the sound goes deeper. but no CEL
so after i got my car home in the garage the firsth thing i do is check my spark plugs. so i see the that cyl number 2 is totaly black but the other three is fine tan colour..

if a sensor fails would the CEL come on right?
the car is wery slow when reving. idel is @ 500rpm and before was it about 800->
and the car is running on 3 cyl..

If there is no sight of oil residue on the plug, it could be as simple as a bad spark plug. Check the gap and the spark emission.

I have no answer for what you`re asking about. Sorry...

Congrats with the purchase. I reckon you are "crx" from the norwegian forum!?
Give us some info about the car. And some pics!

well, after i changed the spark plug and fuel filter and that did not help so i checked the new plugs and i found oli on it!
that would proabobly be a blown valve seal?

yeah http://www.club-honda.org was down yesterday...and im ^crx^ there and i still have the old car

well the car is #1240 and in CW of course thats the finest colour.
it is equped with:
* mugen CF hood
* after market styling kit (well i was looking for a OEM ITR but the kit is pretty fine so i guess im keeping it on)
* CF rear wing, he told me mugen but i doubt it
* DC sports header
* HKS cat back
* EBC tubo groove disc and green stuff pads
* SS brake lines
* DC short shifter
* Auto meter gauges
* mugen valve cover
* Tenso r CAI
* koni adjusteble dampers (dont remember the spring manufactor)
* misc interior touch up`s
* APR smal F1 carbon mirrors
well and a big shitty stereo and i almost forgot the altezza lights! but i got the OEM in my garage so they sould be mounted soon

Before you bought the car did you have the car inspected? Do you have a compression and leakdown test done?

those are all worthless mods besides the koni's if they the koni yellows. it could also possibly be piston rings.

if i must replace the valve seals. is it any more i should do with the top?
the honda shop told me it could be the oil ring on the piston

Well, if it puff smoke between hard shifting, it may be the valve seal. Otherwise, bet on the oil ring.

I wouldn't drive it. Do a compression test and if the bad cylinder is 0 or close to it, see if adding oil in the bad cylinder gets it up to 75 psi or so. If it does could be valve(s), if it does not could be ring(s). Do you hear any piston slap? You may be causing damage to the cylinder walls if you do. Do you have an engine light on? Do you know what code it is spitting out?

TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC NOW

well it was no oil recedue on the spark plug. but unburned fuel since the exhaust vales was burned stuck @ open.
and the shop in norway was demanding a extreme amount of money, that you dont belive me!

but he talked about that the valve seat could be so damaged that the top would just be trash.
who is the best valvetrain upgrade on a b16c6? what i have understand is it just wrong to upgrade the cam on stock pistons?

here is pictures of my cylinder head. is this just FUBAR or is it any hope for a poor kid like me?
how can i check if my valve seat is toasted and not usable anymore? and if is is worn out could i replace it or is the cylinder head on pice of cast alu?
and there is a picture of my rocker arms. you can see some wear damage but i can not feel it with my finger tip. so i guess that is nothing to worry about? right?
the same thing is about the top of one cylinder sleeve
