Default FS: Comptech Icebox, Prelude Injectors and P28 ECU for OBD2a

Well, the R on Monday and these are the couple of parts I have left over currently. They were all used on my Type-R at some points and are all in great working condition. Just thought I would give my R buddies a heads up.

The P28 ECU is specifically designed for an OBD2a car (97/98 R) and requires no addiotnal converions harness to plug in.

I would buy the icebox but not for 125....its only what, 170 new?
Pics? Condition? How long was it used?
Comptech had a factory blemish icebox on ebay that ended up selling for less than that. Not trying to be a jerk, I just wish the price was lower cause I want one .

Look at it this way. You want one cheaper?Buy on eBay then. . . can't find one then buy mine. I'd love to buy an E46 BMW M3 for $8,000 but it ain't happenin. . .but I always check eBay anyway.

You are talking $50 less than a new one. What sort of depreciation woudl you like? It was used for 30,000 miles or so. It is in good condition considering it is a plastic box that goes under the hood.

You guys take yourselves a little too seriously.
Its only "lowballing" if I had actually offered to BUY it...
And I wasnt complaining....its called "negotiation".
I get the sad feeling that alot of you paid sticker price for your cars?

From the sellers response I fully gathered that he's not interested in selling for less than the stated price....end of discussion.

If they bought it new you can bet they did pay sticker. There was almost no negotiation on brand new Type-R's. Not saying everyone paid sticker but saying that was common for the car and if you weren't complaining or low balling I'm not sure what the heck you would like to call it.

complain
v 1: express complaints, discontent, displeasure, or unhappiness;
"My mother complains all day"; "She has a lot to kick
about" [syn: kick, plain, sound off, quetch, kvetch]
[ant: cheer]
2: make a formal accusation; bring a formal charge; "The
plaintiff's lawyer complained that he defendant had
physically abused his client"

Please, where exactly did I complain?
I stated 2 facts about the price of other iceboxen, and then uttered a wish about the price of yours.

The above is an implied complaint, if not expressly stated by your unwillingness to ante up the asking price.

Look, if you don't want to buy it .... then leave this thread alone!

You complained right here. first about the price in comparison to a new one. second in comparison to a factory blemish item. Third because you want an icebox at some ridiculously discounted rate.

Look, I was not complaining...nor was I expecting some "ridiculous" discounted rate. As a seller you should expect that people will want to haggle on prices, thats a normal part of selling anything...you guys are way tooo uptight about that ****.
I am not cheap, I do like to get a good deal.
I would rather pay 170 and know I'm getting all the parts/instructions/etc...than buy it from some guy on the Internet whos attitude is this bad?
I dont care how many people in your little clique can "vouch" for you...

Let me address this one first.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by andyt &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I dont care how many people in your little clique can "vouch" for you... </TD></TR></TABLE>

Its sort of ironic that you brought this up .... enough said.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by andyt &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">As a seller you should expect that people will want to haggle on prices, thats a normal part of selling anything...</TD></TR></TABLE>

In that case the appropriate thing would be to IM him your offer.

LMAO, FYI his "little clique" is the basically the entire ITR Forum...and he is also one of the founding fathers of honda-tech (check the memberlist by signup date if you dont believe me). He is easily one of most trusted people here.

The only bad attitude here is yours!

It's not a clique. Trey knows more of us on this entire board first hand than you could possibly imagine.

I think you really need to quit now, cuz you're not ahead by any means.

I paid like $21,xxx for mine, I think? With A/C? And I got the stupid 5.9% financing that wasn't supposed to be valid on the Hype R.
