xm-roady 2 question?
I am thinking about getting xm, and a local store has the roady 2's on sale/clearance. Question is, I have 3 cars, and it looks like it is meant for some of it's parts to remain in the vehicle. Am I right? Do I need extra antennas and mounts for each vehicle?
If so, are these parts readily available? I did not see anywhere that had roady 2 accesories.
Thanks, and sorry for the dumb questions- I just do not want to pay for subscription service, and it be a hassle to move from vehicle to vehicle to home.

I'm not too sure about the Roady 2's, but I have a Skyfi 2 and yes, you will need to have separate antennas and cradles in each vehicle. (unless you plan to install and un-install these things every time you switch cars
)
XM and Sirius are both subscription based services. If you don't want to pay, then these services are not for you. Once you have the cradles installed in your car, it's just a matter of popping out the receiver (roady 2 in this case) and moving it from home to car and vice versa. It's really no hassle at all.
