Default power stearing fluid in break pump

Hi there. My dad put power stearing fluid on his van break pump system. Would we be able to flush it all twice and make it work right again? A tire/break shop wants $2,500 for all the parts and labor Its a 2000 caravan any help you pros can guide us to would be highlly appreciated it. thanks

Just flush it with lots of brake fluid, nothing too hard, make sure you buy a lot of cheap fluid so it will get diluted and then flushed out, I say 2 32oz bottle should do the trick.
