I found a white type R for a good price, but the interior was ripped out. How hard would it be to replace the interior? would it cost alot?

 

What happened to the interior and what do you mean you "found" an ITR. Anytime i hear this i can't help but think something was stolen, whether it be the seats or the car..In either case it blows. Since i've had a couple stolen from me . BTW i'm not accusing you of being the thief

 

well what exactly was taken. the whole interior, seats, carpet, center console, seat belts......

just use any old integra parts. no need for it to be R parts. they just cost toooooo much

 

Yes it would cost a lot, unless you buy a stolen interior..

 

what i mean by found is i found one for sale for under 12k from a guy who used it for a track car. it only has about 25,000 miles on it.

I guess the main things that i would want to reinstal would be the door pieces and the dash...

 

U can find cheaper itr parts, you just have to wait for the right person selling. I know there is a thread going on in this forum from someone totalling there r and selling everything.

 

The car was tracked? Check the tranny and make sure there are no grinds, especially 2-3rd gear at 8500. Also check the motor for compression problems.

I would venture to guess its the 98 CW being discussed in the RR/AX forums.

The car is worth $9k at best. It has potential to be a track car, but is not worth the price the owner is asking.

Buy an R with a C5 in it.
