Default B16a Distributor (OBD0) with LS Internals? Anyone know how?

Hi, I'm currently driving an LS/VTEC with a distributor that could be going out so I think durring my tune up I'm going to replace it. I hear you can use LS (OBD0) DA Internals, with your exhisting B16a distributor. Something about the LS's bolt pattern allows it to not bolt up. Does anyone have a walk through for what exactly all is switched?

I rebuilt a B16a1 unit using a NAPA bearing
part# 6001-2ZJ and info from that site..
