now im trying to start my project.. to be hoenst i just want to make it back to stock and make it a daily driver

just had some questions.. should i put a stock dash with its harness.. or put in the gsr dash with the gsr harness since there is nothing there

First off. I have pretty much every part you need. So pm me if you're interested.

Second, integra dash looks cooler, go here for specifics: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1211255

Third, for daily driving, d15b7 is decent but I'd opt for a d16z6 because it's a direct bolt in and you'll have 23 more hp.

Fourth, a stock carpet can be found here on ht for very cheap. Or you can get a replacement off ebay but you'll have to cut the pattern out which is entirely lame. I recommend the former.

I would buy another civic or integra that's wrecked and swap everything over. Good luck with the project.

Im not tryin to hijack the thread but does anyone know the weight differences between the teg dash and the civic one? Not that you would be concerned about this at all b/c it is just a DD.

LMAO, dude you need to figure out what you want before you start spending your hard earned money.

I'd guess that you'd end up spending more on reassembling this car then just buying a bone stock one for cheap. It also sounds like you don't know what you're doing so you'd probably end up spending more after people take advantage.

If I were you, I'd sell it now and buy a car that's in your budget, safe, reliable and bone stock.

Best of luck

If you're looking for a project, the Integra dash would set the car out from the rest and make it that much better.
It will take more time and work though.
If you want to get that thing up and running, I say just get the Civic dash and corresponding dash harness.
Throw in a EX/SI cluster or JDM one and you're set.

I'll point out one thing based on experience (being in Canada as well) don't buy your parts from the states because Canada customs will charge you an arm and a leg on everything that comes over, not to mention ridiculous shipping costs of larger items such as the dash.

In southern Ontario there are more than 100 large and well known junkyards which mostly or even all have at least one EG hatch. The 4 that are local to me here all have them... My advice is to find one, pull the whole interior from it part by part, or just get the whole car for cheap. Get a price on the entire interior before starting, they'll give you a cheaper price than if you pay part by part.

I started out with a hatch shell just like that about a year ago and it is quite a project. Be prepared to spend a lot of money if you want full stock interior. I did that and spent over $1000 on stock interior. Just pick up some Integra GSR Seats and some door panels and a dash. You will not spend a whole lot of money that way, and it will be comfortable for a daily driver. Good luck with the project. Post some before and after pics.
