Default tps code

would and uncalibarated tps throw a code 7 on a obd1 ecu (engine light) and bring the idle up into the lower 1000rpms????

I hope that is all it is!!!! I tested the wiress going to the tps and they had proper voltage...I also put a new tps sensor and I still get tps error code!!! getting it calibrated tonight( crossing my fingers LOL)
