Default TODA B series header- NEW VERSION ?

Is it true Toda released a new version for the b- series units ?

Have the new version, longer Y 2-1 transition for better flow ?

Have an "S" transition to the flange?

Somebody hve pics of the new version?

I would suggest calling a Toda distrubutor before rumors becomes a "big rumor"

Toda has a 96 and 98 version header, the 98 spec is a little longer. as far as i know they're not coming out with any new header for the b series

I don't want to cause rumors..especially big. I only asked about

I read someting in this forum but i do not remeber very well.

Anyway here I saw picture of toda b unit header that seems to be different from the one in toda website. Especially in the transition to the 2.5 flange that seems to be like an "S"

Nope, this rumor is false. I called and talked with Toda and they have never heard of this rumor, nor have the intention of making one

i never saw a b16b header from toda usa, i been a dealer with them for a while now. doen't mean they didn't make it.

They are no different except the 98 spec is a little longer, Toda USA only carry the 98 spec header, not too many people see the 96 spec except people who imported directly from Japan.

you can see the 3 different versions on toda's japanese site, the b16b has 48mm secondaries, compared to the 50mm secondaries of the b18 version

Well this is all fine in theory but the fact is that the Toda header has proved itself many times in dyno tests to produce very good power. In fact, most of the top Honda headers, like SMSP, DTR and Hytech are all 4-2-1. Peak power is not all, a good fat powerband is vitally important for street driven cars, sure for drag racing a 4-1 will produce slightly better peak numbers, but the differences aren't that big anyways.
