When you get pieces like bumpers and fenders painted do you need to take the whole car to the body shop or can they match the paint w/ just giving them the parts?

 

you should take the whole car so that they can blend the paint, because your car's paint job is most likely faded a bit from the original color and just slapping on new painted parts will look like a mismatch in color.
