My buddy Wade has been working on this for some time. A LOT of custom work on his part has gone into it. Some quick specs are:

-> painted Desert Rock Metallic, same color as Odyssey minivans
-> sleeved LS block, 2 liters, built to ****.
-> Precision SC63 turbo, IC piping, downpipe BY HIM
-> MegaSquirt standalone computer
-> authentic Mugen RNR's, repainted flat black, with center caps in immaculate condition
-> Tanabe Sustec full coilovers
-> custom built rollcage and painted engine bay/interior by him
-> WRX center dash gauge pod
-> custom license plate shaving and relocation BY HIM

once it's running smooth they are fixing up little touches on the outside, he's adding some more fun stuff (visors, thin side molding, hood hopefully, mirrors, etc) and finishing the necessities like window seals, roof rain guards, etc.

They're hoping to take it to get dyno'd soon and make easily over 500 horsepower.

It was supposed to be at H.I.N. Kansas City but ran a little behind schedule.

That was sort of kind of the point. Do something different and out of place without completely ******* the rear end up with neons and JDM tilted license plates.

Oh well. It's an acquired taste.

 

i think it looks better down there. thats where it shouldve been in the first place. wade did awesome body work/paint ON HIS OWN. i wish i could find my old pics of the car BEFORE. lol. because this hatch was previously owned by me, and was total sleeper status.

mad props to wade. second car, this one is STROKED to a 2 ltr and his old setup in the EF he put down close to 340 whp on a MUSTANG dyno *~380 or so on a dynojet* on pump gas (92) and 14 psi.

cant wait till this beast hits the streets around here. should be sick as hell.

Last I heard, Josh put down 370+ on a Mustang Dyno or something along those lines. It's being sold off again, but currently running pretty strong.

no thats not the boostang... the boostang looks a lot more stock than that, it only has the mach 1 lip and SVT wheels.

crazy that there are nice cars in a little place like omaha haha.

 

I like the location of the plate, but I really dislike the smoothed hatch... I realize you can't really have one without the other... but.

Daishi i see you up at Flashbacks on wednesdays all the time. I noticed alot of your boys are rocking TRI stickers, is that where you guys get work done? I haven't been to brandon's new(ish) shop yet... is that it in the pics?
