I don't see why those would be bad? Those are really pretty good times.

Those would be good times for a car. So Im guessing they are decent for a bike.

Stock 600 with a slip on...definately good times. I was right there when my Gixxer only had a slip on. Now i have a jet kit, sprocket and chain set, and a full exhaust header back.

who gives a **** about 1/4 on a bike? Especially a nearly stock 600. Lame as hell. Unless you are drag racing a drag bike, then it's pointless. **** is made to turn.

I do.
I heard this **** all the time in the ITR forum when i had my car.
What does it matter what the bike was made to do. As long as the riders is being safe and having fun is all that matters. What is lame as hell is trying to tell someone how to ride their bike. If you buy me a bike I will ride it any way you want me to.
I bought my 600RR and have no intentions of going to a track in any near time. I would see myself at a strip before a road course.

back on topic
I thought that the stock 600RR is supposed to do like mind 10's. So if this is your first time i would say they are great times.
For me launching a bike would be the hardest part.

altitude only matters to N/A motors. Or has a bigger affect on N/A motors. Forced induced motors have little or no affect by altitude. thinner air = less power. Common sense

Valid point...although at least stunting mixes it up. To me drag racing is just too point and shoot too do it on a bike, because a bike has so much more potential.

What are you wanting people to say ? "OMFG, GREAT TIMES !!!!" ??

Given your 60' and 330' times, that's about right for a 600RR. 60' and 330' times affect your ET alot more than altitude does. You'll see the effects of altitude in your trap speed more than the ET.

As for the 12R... I've seen "hooked up" turbo bikes run shitty. Seen bikes set up exactly like mine run shitty. Seen em all stretched and lowered and not able to run with a stock wheelbase version of the same bike.

I understand that also. I'm sure living up in utah there are alot of places to cruise and drag knees also.

I've been to the track and i ride out in the canyons too. Just have as much fun as you can on your bike as long as your not an idiot about it.
