I just looked at my motor mount next to the intake box and the big bushing looks rotting and cracked. I just want to know if the bushing suppost to be round or that weird shape?

 

yes its supposed to be wierd shaped like that.......mine was cracked like that so I ended up filling it up with polyurethane. its held up for 5 years now

 

Yes, it's suppose to be in that shape. The stuff that's peeling is the rubber/plastic coating that the factory use to prevent dryness while on the assembly line. If you are concerned about it cracking, you have few choices. One, replace it with something better. Two, fill the gap with urethane. Three, get urethane inserts.
