I'd search....I'd search H22 and you'll find your answer 2point2 put a H22 in his CRX so you should be able to do a H23 in your hatch

Try a search on Yahoo. I believe even http://www.hasport.com now has weld in mounts for H22/H23 into EF chassis.
You will most definately do lots of wiring changes and some sort of mix matching of axles and shafts, or aftermarket units.
