Tranny question!?!??!?!? Please help..

Default Tranny question!?!??!?!? Please help..

I want to buy a d15b sohc vtec motor....i currently have a d15????? something....(not exactly sure which one) its the one with 2 injectors...my question is would that tranny work with the D15B vtec motor...or do i have to get a new tranny to go along with the d15b

It would work, but it won't be as fun as say an SI tranny or a cable ZC tranny.

lots of people have... the DX tranny will bolt directly to the d15b, all the mounts are the same too, but you'll want some axles from a 89 integra I think and halfshaft.

i have done a swap kinda like what you want wanting to do, but i have a 90 Si hatch with a 97 SOHC V-tec some what like the D15B v-tec and i just used the stock Si tranny on my new motor, it works great and while you have it all out i would put an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. But i would try to get a "90-91" Si Tranny
