Throttle cable issues...
If i am swapping out my d16y7 to a d16y8 in my ek hatch, do I need to change the throttle cable, or will my stock throttle cable hook up to the d16y8 manifold..

i'm searching and i'm getting mix answers...some people have done it says it works and some says need to swap it out....on this post, this person is having trouble with the cable....

I've done it with both. The y8 throttle cable fits much better...for obvious reasons. However the y7 cable will work. Just make sure you have the y8 throttle cable bracket that is on the IM.
