I've run into a few problems when trying to start my car. The car turns over like it wants to start.

1st: I'm not getting a spark from plug 1 or 3. So I figured none of them fired. I pulled them and placed them close to the valve cover so see if they were firing. I changed the dizzy cap and the rotor spins. So I'm not sure what might be wrong.

2nd: My battery light is on. The alt. is hooked up and spinning when the car is attempted to be started. The battery is good because it starts my friends celica.

I had relocated my fuse box in the bay to the cabin, but can only find one of the two black w/ gold plugs. One is for the battery/ starter. I can't find the other. Could that possibly be why I'm not getting a spark.

3rd: When I rewired my turn signals back up I get nothing. From them or my side lights. My headlights work fine, but no turn signals. They don't even flash on the cluster.

Sounds like the wiring is pretty hacked up. I'm not sure what connector you're talking about, but chances are you need it. What happened to the car that all thing wiring is like it is? Did it ever run (recently)?

 

Well I moved the fuse box back in dec and sent my wiring harness off to rywire back when droppedcrxsi crashed his car. So in between that time I have no clue what happened to the wire. Everyone keeps telling me that it goes to the battery but I have one that already goes to the starter/battery hooked.
