clear coat?
touching up the paint on my Vogue Silver 98 Civic EX 2dr
paint code = NH-583M
do i need to add a clear coat on this touch up or does my car not have a clear coat to begin with?

Every car has clear coat, you can tell if it doesn't it won't be shiny at all.
Where is the clear coat coming off of? And yes, since your car is VSM, I can assure you that it has clear coat.

i think he is just trying to touch up a scratch or something and is wondering if he needs to add clear to the touch up. most of the time no you do not need to clear touch up paint because they are mostly single stage paints.
why dont you let us know exactly what you are trying to paint and us people with paint knowledge will help you out
