tryin to round up all parts to do swap this weekend (need sizes)
ok its time to round up the lil stuff to do the swap and im tired of going to the junkyard(if i dont have to) so i was wondering if i could get a replacement part(just bolts) from home depot....this is what i need to know the size's of: d-series tranny bolts (there's about 5 on the tranny, the bolts that hold the tranny to the block) and the "bitch pin" for a d-series shift linkage......so please let me know if they could be found at a place like home depot????

Your best bet is to call up friends or shops who do swaps and ask them for the hardware that you need. Those kinds of people usually have bucket loads of OEM bolts. I know i have at least 3 sets of what u need, lol. About the bitch pin, I would just go to the dealership for that. If u find used pin, it might be all flared out from people not using the proper size punch.

The "bitch pin" is 8mm in diameter which is only .0025 inches larger than a 5/16" roll pin. Roll pins are generally larger than their specified diameter. Long story short, you can use a 3/4" long 5/16' DIA roll pin as a replacement.
