Default what engine recommend?

i want to do an engine swap to my '90 honda civic dx... what engines do you guys recommend for about $1500?

what kind of numbers will the car be giving me?

Get the DOHC zc, best bang for your buck with reasonable torque and power, easily turboed if required and looks killer with a powdercoated valve cover the same color as the body of the car!

B18 full swap for under $1500? If you can hook this dude up with that, hook me up with that deal!!!

My little D15B2 is great for what it is, a little 80 hp econo-block with a 4 speed manual, but for reasonable power and a nice 5 speed, it is hard to beat a mini-me swap or just the plain old DOHC zc.

The cool thing is the zc isn't Vtec, so no crazy wiring is required, and it is also OBD0, just like your ride so no conversion harness is required.

ohh yeah price..riiiggghhhtttt...... in that case zc yeah thats why i got it. mine was about 900 30-40k on itgood deal right? but make sure you have the right distr and tranny and ecu. I ended up paying 1950 for mine

That is why I still have my 17 year old original block!!! No price for keeping what you already have, man.

In the past 2 years that I have owned my hatch... I have only done the oil and a head gasket. Can't beat that price!!
