i bought a 91 hatch but it has a single cam non v tech zc. I have to smog it now but it wont pass smog.Its to rich they tell me.The ecu it has is a PM6 its not the one to the engine i belive,or its no good. I need help to figure out what ecu i need, and will this solve my problem.The check engine light comes on after the car warms up.The car whont stay on on its own till that check engine light comes on.

 

what engine do you have in the car?? (look for a stamped code on the left side of the block...below the head) and then i can tell you what ecu you need

what CEL are you getting i've heard ppl passing with pm6

i have the same problem with my 91 si and its giving me a fu%king headache. a shop told me it might be ecu ralated but i've swpped the ecu 3 times and still i can't pass smog. currently i'm running a d16a6 with a pm6 si ecu.
i have a feeling it's a bad catalytic.
