I have a Greddy Sp exhaust on my 89 Si and its pretty quiet. You can only really hear it during WOT. But it was kind of expensive.

Well my Greddy definitely doesn't have that ricey buzzy exhaust noise. I would suggest one if you want to quiet exhaust with a deeper note at WOT.

GReddy = Quiet.

I've got it on my car for 3 years, never had a problem out of it, and it tucks up against the chassis well, no scraping.

Make sure to get the 60mm piping version.

greddy is mistsubiti u didnt know that. mistubitshi owns greddy if u didnt know. and mistubitshi is about to be bankrupt hinding consumer reports for a long time about all teh problems they have. but ive only heard good things about their exhaust. as for a custom no way they **** it up everytime i get something done around here. i work on my car and thats it i wont let an ******* work on it unless i know them personally or have someone who knows them.

I have an 88 si and I have a greddy MX with a CAI and it sounds very nice. Very low and quiet, I don't even get looks when I drive by the occifers. It came with all the necessary bolts and fit right in with my stock hangers. Perfect fit until I tried to put on a short shifter and the shift linkage bumped the resonator. (i fixed that with silicon and duct tape )
Greddy MX is 474$ at http://www.adventon.com/ Plus shipping I though It was a great deal, I'm very happy!
