So I was driving and it just stalled. It won't even crank. Relay is not an issue so that is out of the picture. If you push-start it, it starts fine. But it throws code 8 TDC. I followed all my MPFI-converted wires and some were dirty as hell. One was loose but I redid them all. I stripped them and connected them together but nothing. Reset ECU, nothing.

I'm stumped. I searched but it's always under different circumstances. I took my dizzy cap off and everything is clean. Nothing unusual. Please help my guys, i'm trying to get rid of this car and now this happens.

I did a search on this problem and found the question 3 times..
but NO asnwer..
on whole HT no specialist's know what the deal with this? hard to believe ..

 

same thing happens with my car.
i can reset the ecu, and nothing will come up.
if i plug in my vafc, start it. nothing comes up. but soon as i try and start it, it flashes code 8 and will not start.
