4th Gen Rear Sway Bar- Is Progress better than ST?
I did search this topic and found a lot about ST but not much on Progress. The Progress bar is slightly bigger, but does it rub like the ST? Also is it bolt on, or is it recomended to drill new mounting locations like the ST? Thanks
suspension is 90-95% subjective... one person will like one bar and say it's superior to another, and vice versa. people aren't testing lateral g's, slalom runs, etc. to comapre which bar is better. at best, people are autocrossing and coming up with their decision.
one bar's thicker than the other (progress thicker than the st), but that might or might not be good for you, your driving skills, and your driving habits.
add to that, puting a rear sway bar on depends on the rear section... some come with moutning locations already in (ex's, some lx's), and some don't (some lx's, most dx's).
will it rub on your exhaust... depends on the diamter of the exhaust you have on your car.
in the end, is progress better than st... idk... i have an st front and rear and like the set up. a friend has the progress rear and likes his.

well I have a 91 Lx and an St rear swaybar. That **** about drilling holes for the ST is bull. The bar comes with brackets to mount to your sub-frame. ABSOLUTELY no drilling required. i have a 2.5 inch exhaust and it definitely rubs.
