Default Looking for links on How to make a obdo to obd1 conversion harness.

Well pretty much like the title states I am trying to locate some information on how to make a conversion harness (obdo-obd1)

I am NOT interested in purchasing it I would like to make it myself. I am very confident in being able to make it myself. After all I made a ecu test harness that works perfect

So if anybody has some links it would be very helpful. I looked through all 4 pages of the Faqs and didn't notice anything.

I am not quite sure what to search so I just posted this up.

Help a H-T brother out

shane
ps: I have at least 40 hours a week to make this harness

I'm assuming it is a matter of having the diagrams (pin-outs) for both ECUs. An OBD1 and an OBD0 (the one's you're using). Then taking the (for example) injector wire from A2 (totally making this up) and run it to where it needs to be on the OBD1 ECU (i.e. E3 or something). Get what I'm saying? I'm sure it's probably a little more complicated than that, but I'm thinking that's basically what is going on.

easy...find the pinouts for the stock ecu in your car, then the pinouts for the ecu you are going to be using. Then connect the dots. Get connectors and pins and compatible pin crimper. If you didn't already know how to do this, its probably something you shouldn't be doing yourself.

yeah I figured that but to be on the safe side I would like to see if someone has some pictures or write up on how to do it.

Like I stated before I have made a ecu test harness this is the same exact thing except you make it with 3 additional plugs so you can test the wires. (in fact I'll probably do this to the obdo-1 conversion harness)

Was that for the pinouts? If so, thanks.

Is there a direct link anywhere that shows how to do this? Just curious.

I am just curious why when you state obdo does it say vtec in some of the locations? Is that where it will need to be added?
