Mugen n1 suspension rebuild ??
One option is to call Scott at King Motorsports @ 262-786-8360
You send him your shocks and he sends them to Japan for a Mugen rebuild.
That'd be the only option I'd consider, but then I'm trying to develop a bias toward doing it right the first time.

i think mugen suspension use sealed Showa dampers. probably not rebuildable. but id call king motorsports to see if they offer a warranty.
Try a motorcycle suspension shop. Those guys seem to be a bit more abundant, and being they are showa's, you might luck out.
I have use Aftershocks in Palo Alto in CA (http://www.aftershocks-suspension.com/), and they were not afraid of any shock to work on. (I have Mugen N1's as well. They are now for sale.)
YMMV
