haha yeah it did...i was going to get a b16b but for 500$ more i was like nahh ill go b18c(r) lil more power and tq for the $$ still want to take it to the track and see aht #'s i pull..

 

Are you selling the b16a2 with everything or just the tranny< Im looking for a complete swap. What tranny are you selling with it?

 

motor/trans/ecu..1800+s/h rather not ship if needed...s4c trans hydro....came with 99 civic si b16 no engine harness just complete longblock

 

B18C5 i love it. I am gonna be doing that swap on my 91 CRX, so tell me what you think about it.

 

very fun to drive i tell u that.. and u surprise alot of people when ya race em there like wtf? its worth it but the price ehhh kinda high but supply/demand.. so there gna jack the $$ up...just like gas.....i hope to hi in the 13's with it

 

I would think you could do better then high 13's with slick, maybe. As soon as I sell my mitsu i'll get my B18C5. I can't wait. I'm gonna keep that somewhat factory look so no one will ever no.

 

thats what i did kept it stock as much as i could...get hte jdm b18c(r) lil more pep...yea so i been told maybe high 12's with slicks i seen eg;s running around the same #'s

how hard would it be to put the b16a2 in a crx, and to put a hydro tranny in would also be hard, right?

 

well the b16a2 was obd2 but i converted it to obd1 jumper obd0-1 ecu jumper then had helms manual for 89 civic and 99 civic si had to rewire the alt/dizzy to obd1 then i got the hasport efb2 kit which is for hydro trans in ef's ..yea i thought the pirtate thingy was funny RRRRRRRR heh

 

Quick ? about the swap, and maybe you'll know. But i think my fuel pump is going in the dx. Should I just go a head and get a 110 walbro? Or can I not put that in my dx and still drive?

I don't want that little pump in there when i get my B18C and i don't want to do the work twice.

 

haha is a dx f/p 110 holy shyt .. im using my stock full pump still with my b18c(r) . maybe i should change it prolyl starving my motor for fuel hmmm

 

hey is that motor still for sale. im just getting into honda's i had a gst(fwd turbo eclipse) did all i can do to it than got board just picked up a 89 crx type R yellow shaved handels and a 4 pc body kit for a grand let me know i want to swap out my motor

u just have to ask nicely and not be on his bad list

 

yeah think im gonna call him today, ive ordered alot of motors from him never came in any trouble...if something was broke he sent me a replacement part etc...jus got comprehensive on my insurance....but i need receipts...as for hte b16a2 i just sold the longblock last nite for 1100....still have the a2 b16 trans s4c 550 or obo

I've ordered 5 motors from hmo, never got a receipt on the pallet, then again never (as of yet) have had any sort problems either.

How is your ground clearance with your 4-1

 

its ok lowered on skunk2 2.5 drop i think...time to time i get a lil scrape not bad tho ill see if i can snap some pics

 

its funny that i saw this thread. my friend bought ur b16 the other night and we put it in his 2000cx hatch. that thing started right up and sounded pretty healthy. well good luck with the swap, and will prob see ya at the washington lake park meet.
