P28 ecu - no LED indicator light?

There is no led on my 92 P28 ECU, is this normal? Do all P28 ecus have no led light? How can I get troubleshooting codes then?

on my pr4 from the93 teg there isnt one i forget how it works exactly with the diagnostics codes something about a jumper

92-5 ECUs have OBDI system which uses a jumper and cluster display

It's not in yet, but will be D16Z6 complete with 5th gen everything basically....
