I have portflow stiff inners on intake and exhaust and type r's on the outer springs with portflow titanium retainers portflow said the valve train will be good up to 10,200rpm and jun said that they prefer the jun valve train but portflow will work fine with there cams.

If you are going to run stock reatiners with Stg.3's check the retainer to valve seal clearance. As far as springs listen to all the people her that have tried all the combos, or call Portflow.

Well first of all a Jun 3 is not comparible to a Skunk Stage 3, as you can see the Stage three has alot more lift

Jun Type 3 12.0 mm, duration - 265.3 @ 1mm 11.5 mm, duration - 265.3 @ 1mm
Skunk2 stage 3 12.8 mm, duration 273 @ 1mm 11.5 mm, duration 273 @ 1mm

Second of all everyones advise that states that they will be good to X,XXX amount of revs is retarded. Springs are good up to a certain amount of lift. If you plan on using portflow inner springs with ITR yellow outers you can handle up to 12.5mm lift on both sides. Thus by looking at the specs above, You can handle Jun3's no problem but not Skunk Stage 3's. i recomend running skunk Stage 2's or Buddy club Spec IV's if you plan on using 11.5:1+

Skunk2 stage 2 12.3 mm, duration 266 @ 1mm 11.8 mm, duration 262 @ 1mm
Buddy Club IV 12.3mm, duration 306@1mm 11.8mm, duration-302@1mm

Buy titanium retainers. they only cost like $150 and can withstand more spring pressure from aftermarket springs
