Default Lets play hide the sub box..

I hate looking at my sub in the rear of the car so i built a box and hid the unit.
The sub is a crappy 12" Fosgate but it sounds good. I even covered the box in Alcantra ! How rice is that??

Unless you get low you can not see it and i still have space for other stuff.

I wish....
They would be after the car a hell of a lot more then that system..
The seats are worth at least twice what the audo stuff is worth.

Imo they are very good, I have two 12s in my caR for the last five years and they were in my AE86 for 1.5 years before that. They still sound great and have not failed.

Rockin' the old,old skool Punch

I used to have two of those in my first Eclipse.

It's funny you post this because I've been thinking about putting a 10" or 12" in my R for a little "bump". Anyone with something cheap to get rid of?

6 inches of fury (.25 CU. Ft box, about the size of a shoe box)

It sounded pretty decent for such a small sub, then then I blew the little bastard... Oh well, i've got a Solobaric S8L7 to replace it with since thouse only take .66 CU ft so the box can still remain small and easy to remove.

I tried to set mine up with the speaker facing the seat but the seat absorbs so much of the bass that they are all most useless. Hence the woofer facing the hatch area.
The bass is incredible from one lone" very old" 12". I guess thats the beauty of no undercoating and a huge piece of glass above.

Your set-up looks nicer than mine, I bought the standard box for two 12" and put it in the trunk. Now I have about half the space I started with. It does sound great though and I am using Two Fosgate 12" with the amp under the passenger seat. From the passenger compartment, you cannot tell I have anything because I use the factory head unit. Looks stock, sounds awesome.

hey Black R, that's basically how mine is setup right now, but what kind of support is holding that box in place? I see a little white peice I can't really make out what it is. I'm really liking the tower bar support ideas.. I bought sub straps too a long time ago, figure I might be able to put them to use.
