Locknut? Which one? You need to be more specific.

If you are referring to the rear wheel locknut, then you'll need to use the included wrench in the toolkit (or a socket) to hold the other side of the axle steady. The rear wheel needs somewhere between 50-80 lb-ft of torque (I don't have the exact # with me).

Of course, if you're removing the wheel, this should be done with the rear wheel off the ground with a rear stand or motorcycle jack.

Are you talking about the nut in the center of the clutch hub?

If you notice there is a spot that has been punched in to lock the nut in position. (Prevent the nut from spinning.) I took a flathead screwdriver and bent the indented part on the nut back out so you can remove it.

What are you trying to do replace the clutch? Install a shift kit?

Do you have the special tool needed to hold the pressure plate stationary while you remove the 4 bolts?

I created a homemade tool because I didnt want to wait for honda to order one for me.

If you need, I can dig up the pics of it.
