i finally put it up for sale, not in too much of a hurry to sale but for the right price ill let her go. please bump it for meeeee! also, do u think me still oweing some $ on the car will hurt the sale? ive only had it for about 5 months, did i get any credit?

also u guys with ur 98 cw's do u have any problems/complaints regarding having a 98 instead of a 00-01?

It depends on your payments and APR FWIW I've had mine for about 9 months. I paid 17,900 for the car and I owe about 15,300 on it now with 4.9% and $345.00 payments.

What you owe only matters to you, as you will want to get at least what you owe. Buyer won't care unless you are trading the car in.

And don't get upset when people low-ball you, because they will. I'm selling mine now and the previous owner tried to say my car is worth 17K AUD. Clown.

why sell urs for a 98 CW???

the payments will only be a little less, NOT a ton less

and the black JDM front R's are GORGEOUS!!

to each his own, but i think you ******* out of your mind to sell that car for a CW 98 R

if i sell mine for 19k and buy a cw for around 13-14k or so ive made about 5,000 or so. that money + whatever i have left after paying off my car, can big a nice fat down payment on 98cw, therefore making my payments real low.

It can be tough to sell a car that has a lien on it, just a heads up.

Buyers tend to want "title in hand," as opposed to having to wait for the checks to clear, then wait for the lien-holder to mail the title to the former owner, the wait for the former owner to mail the title to the buyer, etc.

Just offering a bit of advice, that's all.

yea, and still pay all that interest by having the same term.

or have a bigger payment and a shorter term and pay less interest overall, that would be more smart.

seems silly, to buy a 3 year older car, just because of color. Lots more wear and tear and items like bushings and timing belt to replace... sooner.

I don't see the logic in that.

If you are saying 'personal preference', you're right.

19k is a bit optimistic. I was planning to sell mine for 15-16k, '01 w/ 56,000. AFAIK the market isn't 19k for '01s.

Anyways - i think most will agree. Older car, more miles, loan on 7 yr car....accelerate the maintenance schedule 3 yrs... i dunno man. doesn't sound like no evo or sti argument to me.

But... you posted on a web board, so i guess i have to agree with what joo say.
