Default How to fix up rear interior??

I just remembered that i have a rear trunk cover but its split in half...i was wondering what i can do to fix it up so both pieces will be able to stay together again???any help would be appreciated and please no jerky *** flaming comments from some of you ppl...thanks

Never done it before. But I probably would but a new cloth/carpet on it.

fiberglass or fiberglass body filler will hold it

when mine split i went to the hardware store and got a hinge long enough to cover the whole length. and bolted it underneath to both pieces using allen bolts. works like a champ

Mine is like this too but I haven't bothered to fix it yet. I just run the car without it. However with a little ingenuity and a trip to the hardware store it should be an easy fix. You could always put some carpet on some plywood and make your own.

duct tape end staples on the sides...works for me for the last two years...black tape is best...

the long hinge is called a piano hinge.

you could use a piano hinge, or i used door hinges mounted to the underside, but first i painted them and the screws black so you don't see them.

i dont have pictures.

the hinge is 3/4" wide total. its as long as the rear cover and i have 18 1/4" allen bolts honding the covers to hinge 9 on each side. i will try to get some good pictures of it
