I would not be affraid to attempt this on an old car or something just to say I did it, but not on my ITR. I have used Nitrous before and it does make huge power gains. There is a catch...it is not forgiving at all when it comes to tuning. It must be perfectly tuned or you will get detonation and probably get to buy a motor. Do a search for blown motors with nitrous on the net, you will be amazed at how unforgiving it is!

I would rather just have a turbo or something like that. By the way, the wiseco forged pistons in my ITR are there because the first owner (my brother-in-law) blew the stock cast pistons out with a ZEX dry kit. I purchased the car as it was and built it back up with a turbo. The motor has been in for over two years and has been boosted for about eight months, with no problems.

I would not be affraid to use spray on an old iron v8 drag car or something like that but there is no way I would use it on my daily driver. Just my two cents.

Nitrous isnt that hard to make a DYI kit. its just solenoids and lines really. Nothing too difficult.

Turbo isnt any more forgiving then nitrous is.

wow..some ppl are ignorant.

you tune for the nitrous, get a puge, bottle heater, and blanket..and don't be stupid, it's just as reliable as any other power adder out there.
