Alright, seems as I have code P0743 ....now, after talking to two different Honda Techs, they said the AUTO tranny is going bye bye. This seems pretty common for the 98s. Did they make a tranny change after 99. If so, is it a direct bolt up to the 2.3L? Also, if they made a change and I got a junkyard tranny from say a 2000, would there be any computer issues? (135K on this ole girl so the 100K drivetrain warranty is way in the past)

I changed the fluid and it seems to have stayed the lurching tranny for now, but the CEL is still on and she still shifts a little hard.

Also, can you change the Shift Solenoid Valve?? If I did, would it make a difference or is it a waste of time?
