I have about 4500 to spend on it. I know there was a honda-tech member I spoke with that had a nice silver and black and F4i with a high mount exhaust. I lost his number at the time but I can't remember his name to see if he has it still.
Not really picky on the color.
SO EXCITED. WAIT SO LONG FOR THIS.

Yup. Booking my MSF course this Friday. Probably won't get in until next month but well worth the wait
Since you know you are going to be buying a bike, I would highly suggest (and I'm sure everyone here would agree) that you buy your gear now before you buy a bike. Most of the gear will be in neutral colors anyway, except maybe the jacket. Otherwise, you'll find a bike, spend most of your $ on the bike and registration/insurance, and only have a few hundred for gear. Realistically, you want well over $1k for a good gear setup.
Just trying to prepare you in case you aren't aware of gear prices.
Good Luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to look at helmets this weekend.

Thanks I plan too. I know this is a Honda site but is there anythiing wrong with the Kawasaki's or GSX-R's. I've never thought getting one of those. I just figured Honda's were more reliable then the other choices

Helmets are a start, but also look at jackets, pants, gloves and boots. Just try to avoid assuming those will be small costs.

Heres the Silver'Black one you are talking about: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1226097
I've seen the bike in person and its super clean and well taken care of. Bikes not ridden hard, just a commuter.

Already have a tentative deal with the owner. Just trying to lock down specifics (when to get how to bring it back).
On helmets and gloves i'm not sure what or who is the best. I was looking at AGV helmets and JR gloves. On the jacket i might get the JR alter ego while i try figure out what leathers i want. I really like the IICON NEO Daytona Hero Jacket, it seems that a lot of people don't like them for reasons that do and don't m,ake sense.
