Default JDM Recaro low seat rails

Hey, guys, I just bought a DC2R Recaro seat and I want to lower it. I've seen the Vision sliders, that lower the "hip position 50mm," and the brackets and sliders that are "super low."

The Vision set-up is cheaper or would it be worth it to spring for the "Super Low" bracket and sliders? I'm 6,2' so I would like to get as low as possible.

I'm wondering if any of you guys have used any lower brackets or sliders? What are your impressions and where did you buy them from?

Yeah, but which ones? The sliders that lower the hips 50mm or the super low brackets and sliders?

What about Sparco or Bride brackets? Interchangeable?

Any help would be great. TIA

I have orderd the Vision Super Low Sliders for my BC seats. But I have no experience for you.
My opinion would be to get the lowest ones you can if you are 6'2"

I would say the super low ones. 50 mm won't put me low enough, I don't think. Those recaros sit so high it sucks for some one over 6 feet.

The Bride RO rails work on the JDM Recaros and sit pretty low. I'm only 5'9'' so don't know if they would be low enough for you - but the price of them ($175 a piece) would probably make the Vision super low rails more appealing.

Thanks for all the help, guys. The seat height is not too bad but my knee bangs against the keys in the ignition. I guess this is what I get buying seats made for a 140lb Japanese person.

After looking at the seat and looking at 50mm I don't think the Vision rails are gonna cut it. How low would the Bride rails make the seat?

Any other input would be great.

Just heard back from jhpusa. They say that what I want is the one touch seat sliders, the super low sliders are for bucket seats. Also they only sell them in pairs and are not in stock. Great.

I emailed hybridautomotive about their super low sliders so when I hear back form them I'll let you guys know.

Ok, so Bride MO (older style rails) work with the recaros, but Vision One Touch are the way to go according to everyone I've spoken to.

I guess its just a matter of finding a set of Visions.

The one touch sliders will put you as low as possible. It barely clears the two horizontal crossbars on the floorpan. So basically, you can't go lower than these. The rails mount the seat "flat" compared to the "semi-reclined" feeling with the stock Honda OEM mounts. Hope this helps...

Read the thread.

Only one set of rails that you posted a pic of will work with the JDM Recaros, and that's the one touch rails from Vision.
