code 4 wont go away! wtf!?

Default code 4 wont go away! wtf!?

so i had a code 4 on my crx. so i replaced the distributor and still the code 4 wont go away. anyone had this problem before? im gettin pissed here. help people! and dont tell me to search cuz ive searched plenty and none of the cases have to do with an obd1 z6 crx. thanks

make sure its on timing right. if your belt slipped it'll throw code 4 as well.

Trace your distributor wiring back to the ECU. (no not visually)
Use a volt meter on the Continuity setting.
Put one lead at the pin on the dizzy plug.
Other lead at the correct OBD0 ECU pin.

see. i kept tellin people that and theyre all like ?? . the thing is that this car has none of the timing belt covers. neither the top or bottom. : / ima take it to my buddy's shop and have him mess with it cuz i dont have the time anymore. i got an 02 civic and an 89 crx that take my time and this 91 crx is bein a pain : / ill let you guys know what happens . thanks
