Hi all.

Just wanting to know the technique you guys / gals use to get in and out of your seats, as I'm starting to get a piece of folded fabric forming on the hip stop closest to the door. I get in hy sitting accross this hip stopper, and swinging over it - which I know causes the creasing.

So, how do you guys consciously manage to avoid this?

Sounds like you sit on the side bolster and then swing in?

I kinda just avoid hitting the bolster bit, one foot in first then swing over the seat and sorta fall in - if you get what I mean. Its much easier to avoid it when getting out.

That's why the newer version of Recaros have the protecten pad on the side bolster.

 

Hold on to the hand brake (strangely called the emergency brake in the US) and lift yourself over the edge of the seat.

Did you go all the way over?? We last did it on boxing day, got to Siberia Curve and then went back. One day I'm gonna go all the way to Cross Creek and back
