What would be the best setup for a a6 bottom end with a z6 top end. I want to get the most power w/ still being able to run on 93 oct. fuel. What would be the highest comp ratio where it would still be able to be driven daily. And what would be the best pistons, cam to run. i want to get a good idea how much money i'll spend. plus should i use a z6 head or y8 head.

 

or should i buy a whole d16y8 motor?

 

What route do you want to go? Forced induction or all motor?

 

all motor. i know i'm not going to get an incredible amount of horsepower but i want the car to be fun to drive. i'm just worried about the whole odb1 and odb2 and switching my odb0 to the new. iwas just wondering if i should just buy the motor because the rings on my a6 are burnt. or just buy the z6 head and rebuild my bottom end.
