Only thing that matters
Yeah, I seem to notice that too. What happened to Rossi (
) he was doing good in practice but in the race he was running real slow until the last 5 laps or so. It would of been better if Max finished on the podium in front of Rossi. Hayden, Edwards, and Biaggi

i dunno what exactly happened, but Rossi says that's part of his strategy. he hounds the rider in front of him, allowing them to wear out their tires more and in the last few laps, then goes for the pass. too bad that didn't seem to work out for him this time. i would've liked to see edwards finish first, then rossi, and hopkins in third.

Well.. Nicky did own everyone when he was here in the states racing AMA so it wasn't far fetched for him to finish podium here at Laguna. And Colin being a state side badass already knew the track as well. Probably better than anyone in GP. Rossi only had a few hours to learn the track and I'm surprised he did as well as he did. That's a true testiment to his riding abilities.

He did that to Gibbers in the last race.

personally i am not a die hard rossi fan but i think the only reason rossi did not win is not because hayden and edwards knew the track but because rossi did not know the track. give rossi a year or two and he will dominate on laguna seca also.

He does have the most God given talent out there. But i hear rumors he wont be around in like 2 years or so. And if they even come back to Laguna Seca.

its because hayden and edwards knew the track AND rossi was not familiar with it other than on his playstation. during qualifying, hayden had consistent 1.22x times and was untouchable throughout the entire qualifying session. i think it's impressive that rossi even finished in the top three. supposedly, he's only had 4 hours to become familiar with the laguna seca.

Agreed, now waiting for people to start hating. All the americans were fast because the knew the track. Fri was the first day the other riders were out

in an interview, Rossi said the most he'll continue to race in motogp is 5 more years. it did seem like he'd be interested in racing cars, particularly f1 cars. on his first try, he did a lap around a certain track and was only off by 3 seconds from shumacher's lap time if i remember correctly.

Also Rossi might do some Rally too. Ever seen Faster? and Faster and Faster?
