Searched.... Accord springs fit EG?
probably could if the sleeve of the coilover fits your shocks. other than that the accord springs will probably stiffer and taller than civic coilovers.....
I really don't think that they will
I could be wrong, you know what? Honestly I thought about the same thing. I mean, if you take the springs off the Tein Basic Damper set and put it on the Civic Basic Damper set, it would fit right. I mean, the only thing changing is the mounting on the bottom....right?
Bump for a good answer.

Thanks for the info, but would you please tell me why they won't interchange??

on coilovers civic usually use a 2.5"x7" or 2.5"x6" spring while accord owners usually use 2.5"x8" springs, because of our suspension design. the only differences besides that is also the coilover sleeves height and diameter.

So the spring is longer. Obviously the rate is completely different, but couldn't I still lower the car, being that these are coilovers? If stock was a 6", and the Accord is 8", and these are 1-4" of drop..... If you guys couldn't tell, I'm not going for performance at all, this is for the g/f's car
Whats the deal with the sleeve? Will the sleeve fit on Civic struts? I remember on my Ground Controls (CRX), I had to have some spacer thing between the sleeve and the strut to keep it from moving and rattling around. Does anyone know how much of a gap there is more than the Civic struts?
Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to make sure that this is possible FOR SURE or it is not possible FOR SURE.

I have an EG with GC coilovers. They are 400lb/in X 8" front and 275lb/in X 7" in the rear. I also have a GC set from a 2002 accord. It is 450lb/in X 8" front and 300lb.in X 8" rear.
So you can see that there is not much difference in the spring rates, plus the front springs are the same length. The rear is the one that is off by an inch, but since the set is height adjustable, it should work, as long as all the springs are 2.5" in diameter. I've adjusted my coils many times, and I know that there is more than an inch of free space on the rear shocks.
As far as the sleeves, I've never installed my accord sleeves on a civic. They came off of stock shocks, while my civic GC's are on Tokico illuminas. The accord sleeves have a rubber spacer inside whereas my civic coils do not. Regardless, I suggest getting higher rate dampers to match the new springs anyway, just for saftey and control. So the sleeves should fit whatever aftermarket dampers you get.
Hope this helps you out.

Yes, Thanks!!
I'm really not that concerned about dampners either though. The GC's on the CRX were STIFF!! When I bought it, the car rode rough, but would handle decently when I would push it. Everything was fine for just regular driving. When I put in the Tokico struts, I noticed that the ride was a bit stiffer, and performed a TON better when pushing on it. But again, for daily driving, they performed about the same. And the original struts up front were toast... They would fully compress with no problem.
I'm probably going to do just like the GC's were with the rubber spacer things then. If I deem it unsafe, then I won't install them, and I can hopefully resell them
. Also, I will reply in here to let everyone know how it worked out.
Again, thanks to everyone for the input!!!
