I think it would be pretty cool to have a Honda running in Nascar, but why would he downgrade to Nascar?

The motorsports journalists need something to fill their pages. It happens everytime a driver is considered hot property.

Ryan Hunter-Reay was mentioned as being the best positioned American to get into F1...all after going flag to flag winning a one mile oval race!

Danica Patrick was said to be driving some demo laps in a BAR at Indy.

Helio Castroneves, Dario Franchitti, etc. were rumoured to go to F1 after breakthrough wins/performances in Champ Car.

Adrian Fernandez and Jimmy Vasser were said to partner Villeneuve at BAR because of their close ties to Reynard.

 

what car is honda going to race in Neckcar, the accord? Maybe the odessey?

I doubt Honda will ever go to Nascar. Theres little room for them for R&D and the development of new technologies.
