Default Where do I buy tubing from? I need to fab my own intake and exhaust.

I'm using a DA's preportioning valve in my EF because I added disk brakes. I'm also using Edelbrock Victor X mani right now, and no prefab intakes I can buy will fit without hitting the brake lines. I Have To make an intake.

I know JC whitney and Summit sell tubing... but their catalogs is so f*%king confusing, I can't order with confidence. Is there a website or any kind of info that will help me out. I want to buy 2 & 3/4 inch mandreal J bends for the intake, and a bunch of 2 inch straight and U bends for the exhaust. I called summit and the guy on the phone couldn't tell me what all the numbers ment on the list of tubing. As far as the bends go, it has to be the angle of the bend, but he didn't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What material? Summit Racing has the best price I have yet seen on mild steel j-bends, but I don't know if you want to make the manifold and exhaust out of different materials. The intake is usually aluminum and the exhaust, even OEM exhaust, is usually stainless steel.

i this time am going to make my DP ss blingy bling.

but for Dp back i use mild aluminized steel from jc whitney. teh summit bends from hooker suck. the jc's rule. chea and good long legs.

i go thru a different exhaust every year becaus i literaly get bored, plus the fact thta ive made so many exhausts its not even funny, its easy, but cheap crap. get bored, sell it for liek 20% more than it cost and youll always make your money back

Stainless Steel is what I'm looking for. Both the intake and the exhaust will be made out of it.... One of my buddys runs a fab shop, and can get it for me pretty cheap... but he is also a heavy drinker. That means, whenever he can remember, he will order it for me. Could be a week or a month, I never know.
